About the Event

We feel all the feels, empathise deeply with our students, and can use our intuition to help guide us in our work. Being Highly Sensitive and a Yoga Teacher is a magical combination that offers so much both for our students and ourselves. But being highly sensitive comes with extra challenges that can mean we end up surviving rather than thriving. What happens when overwhelm takes over?

Being a Yoga Teacher does not make us immune to feelings of stress, overwhelm and anxiety. We practice and teach Yoga because of the love of it, but as natural empaths, being Highly Sensitive can make us prone to over-giving to others, while under resourcing ourselves. This does not need to be, and should not be the case. We can be empathic, yet boundaried and we can give to our students, from a cup full rather than empty. In understanding ourselves better and honouring what we need and want as Highly Sensitive, we can become more empowered in ourselves which naturally ripples out into all we do, including the work we love.

In this workshop we will cover:

This training is ideal for new, developing, and experienced Yoga teachers and other holistic & movement practitioners looking to understand themselves better through the lens of High Sensitivity and to inquire into better ways of working & living for themselves, and for their students & wider community.

This development workshop will be taking place live on Tuesday 16th January 2024, 10am – 2:30pm. A recording will be available for one month after this date.



Nichola Day is an experienced Yoga Teacher and registered Yoga Therapist, specialising in working with Highly Sensitive & Neurodiverse People and those managing Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Stress and Trauma Recovery.
