About the Event
The effects of modern day stress are becoming common place and yet most of us have not been taught effective ways of regulating our nervous system during times of high stress. Even recognising the effects of stress and can be tricky and easily missed, often we only notice when we crash and burn.
In this workshop, you will learn the three most important elements when recovering from chronic stress and burnout. You will be given time and space to reflect on how stress effects you personally and be guided through movements to prepare the body for good quality breathing and intelligent rest. Bringing the body into a state in which it can heal is both an art and a science - join me in this workshop to learn how to best bring your body into this place of recovery. All practices will be accessible for all bodies and experience level, including those completely new to yoga.
As well as coming to the live online session, included in your booking will be:
> Handouts with prompts and cues
> Access to some of the guided meditations that we will use
> Access to the recording for 2 weeks after the live session
For the workshop, you will need:
* Yoga mat/rug (a carpeted floor will do)
* A bolster/couple of bed pillows
* Couple of cushions
* A blanket
* Notebook and pen
* A quiet space
