About the Event
NOURISH: An Online Group Yoga Therapy & Mentoring Program
Being Highly Sensitive is an absolute power-house of a gift, I deeply believe and know this. Perhaps somewhere within, you know this too. But it might not feel like it if you are constantly overwhelmed, overstimulated, chronically stressed & anxious. Understanding and experiencing the right self-care practices for your unique sensitive body is an essential first step to reclaiming your gifts as a Sensitive.
The world may have taught you that you are ‘too much’ or ‘not enough’ in some way, perhaps leading you to believe your sensitivities are a problem. In this group program, guided by me and supported in group we will journey together to discover more about you and what you need to flourish and claim the life you want to live.
In this group program you will:
· Be guided through Therapeutic Yoga & other somatic practices that will allow you to soothe your nervous system and find safety in your body.
· Invited to reflect and inquire into held beliefs and patterns that might be holding you back in some way.
· Be led through practices that will help you to return to using your intuition and body’s wisdom to enable you make positive choices for your self-care
· Have the opportunity to share and learn in community with other Sensitives experiencing similar issues.
· Develop self-care routines that adapt to your daily, weekly and seasonal needs.
Showing up for yourself and making changes can be hard, yet when we are supported in community it can make it a lot easier.
The format of this program includes:
- 8 x 75 minute Group Yoga Therapy sessions
- 8 x 60 minute Group Mentoring sessions
- Pre-program one-to-one Yoga Therapy Session
- Post-Program one-to-one Mentoring Session
- Message Mentor & Therapist – Access to my support via Voxer for the duration of the programe (Monday-Friday working hours)
- Weekly journaling/reflection prompts.
This program is for you if:
· You are fed up with constantly cycling between feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed and burnt out.
· You are ready to put your well-being at the centre of your focus.
· You are craving a positive change in your life and want to feel fully supported in doing so.
· You have often felt alone as a sensitive and want to connect with others who have had similar experiences.
· You are open to exploring your ‘inner landscape’.
· You are ready to build a sustainable and bespoke approach to your self care that truly nourishes you and your sensitive soul.
Any one-to-one sessions will be scheduled with you individually. Group Yoga Therapy sessions will take place each Saturday for the duration of the program at 4pm GMT (8am PT, 11am EST). Mentoring Sessions will take place each Tuesday at 7pm GMT (11am PT, 2pm EST). All group sessions will be recorded and available for you if you cannot make it live, although due to the tailored nature of the program I suggest making it it live as much as you can to maximise what you get out of it and to benefit from the group dynamic.
