About the Event

Modern life can be a stressful affair at times and conditions such as anxiety and depression are on the rise. This is no wonder with our fast-paced lives and high expectations of ourselves. 

Through personal experience and what I have learnt through my trainings and ongoing study, I offer this short course to anyone seeking a way out of the stress cycle. I believe whole-heartedly in the wealth of knowledge that is held in the yoga tradition and its power to free people so they can live fully, in a way that sees them flourish and thrive. 

This course is for you if you: 

* Are tired of stresses and worries dictating your life

* Are aware that stress is affecting your physical body and/or your mental health 

* Are motivated to reflect, try new techniques and get involved 

* Are curious about how yoga can help and have a desire to live better 

This short course will span 4 weeks, with some tasks to do in between. The content of the course will involve a mixture of gentle movement, breathing techniques, meditation & mindfulness, introduction to key information through lecture, as well as discussion and journaling activities over a hot drink. You do not need to be a very experienced yogi to take part, just a willingness to dive in, be open & willing. 

This is the second round of this course and as such I am running it as a pilot, with a limit of 8-10 people. As it is a pilot, I am offering the whole course for just £40 and also asking you to provide me with some feedback at the end. This is a unique opportunity to be involved with something that may help to change your life and help to shape the course for others in the future.

Dates of attendance: Friday 17th, 24th, 3st January and 7th February all at 6:45 - 8:15pm

Please make sure you can attend all dates in the course to make sure you get the most out of it.

    This ticket allows you to attend the 4 week Beat Stress & Flourish Course on Friday the 17th, 24th, 31st January and 7th February 2020. Each session will start promptly at 6:45pm, with doors open at 6:30 when hot drinks will be available.
