Service Description

Monday Mindfulness Meditation | 7:30 – 8:30pm | Claybrooke Village Hall Find calm and connection in our Monday Mindfulness Meditation class - designed to help you manage stresses of everyday life, and navigate difficult emotions by cultivating mindfulness and deep self-compassion. WHY MINDFULNESS? In practicing this style of meditation, you can create space between our reactions and life’s challenges, allowing you to respond in connection with yourself and navigate life’s journey with greater ease. BENEFITS INCLUDE: • Reduced stress and anxiety • Improved emotional regulation • Greater mental clarity and focus • Enhanced self-awareness and resilience • A deeper sense of calm and relaxation • Increased compassion & kindness towards self and others • A greater connection to yourself WHAT TO EXPECT: These sessions are based in mindfulness and compassion teaching, but they also follow seasonal themes, supporting you to work with needs that tend to crop up as the year unfolds. Each session includes a short introduction and two 10-20 minute practices, with space in between for reflection and discussion to help you deepen your practice. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or an established meditator, this block of classes provides a supportive and therapeutic environment to reset and reconnect with yourself. No experience is necessary—just bring whatever you need to be comfortable, an open mind, and a willingness to explore. Join us each Monday to centre yourself and build emotional resilience for the times ahead. WHAT WILL I NEED? For this class you will be invited to find a comfortable position where you can find ease, but also stay awake and present for each practice. This may be sat on a chair, the floor, or some choose to lie down. You may also want to bring some water/hot drink in a flask and a blanket to keep you warm. LOGISTICS: Please note the dates for this 7-week block are as follows: 24th February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March 7th April As this is a course it is helpful to attend all sessions in the block, as they build upon each other. However, sometimes I understand that is not possible. As such, you can choose to pre-pay for for the full 7 weeks or just 6 or 5 weeks to accommodate your schedule. Please let the teacher know which dates (if any) you cannot attend.

Refunds & Cancellations

Unfortunately in the case of full block bookings, cancellations cannot be accepted once booked and paid for. If you are unable to make all of the dates within a block, you may be able to transfer to another class. This is dependent on spaces and at the discretion of the teacher. In special circumstance the teacher be be able to delay your booking to the next block if you are unable to attend. In such circumstances, please contact the teacher directly.
